Terms of Service
We are a tribe of open-source ethos imbibing transparency, user rights, and community focus.
1. Content Ownership
- Speakers retain copyright to their presentations, but by submitting content, they grant the conference a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to share, record, and archive it (on public platforms like YouTube, GitHub or conference site).
- Attendees may share notes/slides under Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) unless marked otherwise.
2. Open Access
- Recordings, slides, and transcripts will be publicly available unless speakers opt out in advance. As we encourage open knowledge sharing, we may not even opt for those speakers who are not keen to open share the content.
3. Acceptable Use
- No harassment, spam, or commercial exploitation of attendee data.
- AI tools may analyze public content (transcripts), but not private chats without consent.
4. Transparency
- Proceedings of this summit content is open-source. Suggest improvements!
Community Guidelines
- Collaborate kindly: Critique ideas, not people.
- Cite generously: If you reuse talks/blog about them, credit speakers, conference if possible.
- Help us improve this policy: Suggest edits via conference@suchir.ai
